Guys, here’s my bad news about this game. And try to understand the problem with broken controllers.
I’ve been having luck with my controller for quite sometime. There will be times it works, sometimes it doesn’t, but now it’s serious.
I’ve been playing ACGC little by little, as my controller slowly works. I have gotten much luck into trying to keep on track with this game. I’ve had fun playing.
I have started working on the house for the summer tour of 2012, and I am very slow with ordering, which I’ve been trying to work with. So far most of the items I needed are still in need to be ordered. I got a few done.
The thing that now happened was that my controller’s wire snapped open, and is unable to play the game at all. I’m unable to play this game. The only thing that I could do is probably buy a new controller. If I was lucky enough to find a shop that has leftover gamecube controllers, then I could continue playing the gamecube version.
Sadly, there is not enough to get one, unless I find the cheaper ones at a Gamestop, etc.
And please do not say I’m ignoring this blog, because I’m not. My controller is struggling and it makes it harder to play if it always acts up. So for the time being, I’m going to take another possible long break from making ACGC blogs. Until then, I’m continuing to make blogs for my CF entries.
I hope you guys understand. I hope I’ll be back with this blog eventually….
WAKAS
I started with Redwood around 6pm. I got a letter from Kabuki saying that he’s moving away from my town. We were replaced with a new neighbor, however he use to live in Matteo’s town Cebu. We have Biskit living in the town. This early week of May, there are windsocks in some areas for spring cleaning, which I’ve forgot to do. Also, the town was overgrown with weeds again, so maybe I’m going to have to wait until nighttime for Wisp.
I talked to Chow for a bit, and he’s wanting a new catchphrase. I went for “on food”
Later, I talked to Tom Nook so I could order more stuff. I still didn’t empty the basement, so I got double things to take care of with my town.
Biff and Purrl were both mad after a conversation, so I made Dingdong stay on top of the cliff while they looked up at me while steaming their heads.
I spoken to Bluebear. She was asking if I knew how to use my stuff… she should know, because I just dug out a Gyroid close from her house and she looked.
After doing my rounds, I was done playing.

I started up the game with Dingdong opening his mailbox. I ordered more of the things I needed for the summer tour house.
It was a clear day in Redwood, I put the things inside before I would look around the town. I talked to Leigh, who gave me a spring shirt for 2,901 bells, then later Butch played his little Crazy Redd game, and took my money when I got the Scale for 2,300 bells. I was hoping he’d give me an item for my house, but it was just boring junk.
Geez… everyone is taking all of Dingdong’s money. I decided to drop everything for a while and do my fishing routines to get them back. Not only because of them taking the money, but I needed it so I could order more of the furniture I needed for the house.
So Dingdong caught some Red Snappers and only one Barred Knifejaw. It’s been a while since I’ve been fishing in the gamecube version, the Wii version I’m getting into. The only thing is that the Wii version’s is nerve wrecking. You don’t know if the fish might bite it or not; kind of like those patient bites where they take a while to bite.
I’ve done this 15 full inventory fishing 3 times, and got only a simple 30,000 bag. So I got enough to get more things on my catalog.
Dingdong’s house is very empty right now, but I could try finishing it up by the end of May or early June. So his summer house is going to be worked on for a few weeks.
I was done playing and saved my game.
WAKAS
It’s been a while since I’ve been updating this…
In Redwood, Dingdong is back to check on his town. Sadly since his absence, the town is covered with weeds. There was mail in his box. One of them are boring letters from your mom, Tom Nook’s letters, and the HRA, however an extra letter was from a villager.
Ribbot the frog decided to bail out of Redwood. I guess he moves away during my break on this game. So with him out of the picture, a new house takes his place in the same location with Static.
Here we meet up with Chow, (Cranky (panda) Bear Villager). I have so far, 4 crankies in my town, and no normal villagers. Everyone was very shocked to see Dingdong.
Dingdong picks up his weeds for a while until it got kinda tough. I want to see Wisp to get rid of these instead. Nothing else changed around Redwood except that my town is messy with weeds. I wanted to have some fun with Chow and Static by pushing him to the pond again which I successfully did. haha still so funny. :p
I went to save the game after I killed the cockroaches in my house.
Note
Around later April, I’m going to take down the spring house down and come up with a new theme for summer. I know I haven’t been playing much, since I am still working with my character Yann on City Folk, but I can go fast with the collection of Dingdong’s house for the summer. I might have to do a lot of ordering soon and collecting. For City Folk, I am thinking of making more videos of meeting the kind of animals soon.
Here’s another thing to mention out. Some are saying that I’m ignoring this blog and I always take a while to update. I am really not going for that, it’s just that my controller’s been acting up, and it is preventing me to play. I know I can’t replace it right away. I actually need to look for a store with a new Gamecube controller. Just be patient with these.
I saved the game until next time.

It sure took a bit longer, but it was all worth it. In Cebu, I promised that a newer player was going to take the last house, and she finally came. Around 6:50pm, (Philippine time) a newer person had moved in Cebu.
Let’s all meet the beautiful, Maja. She is Matteo’s honey in real life, so she started moving in Cebu, just to get the two to be together, (possible to :p) Originally, Maja was suppose to move in during Matteo’s Bday, (March 26) But my controller wasn’t being nice to me.
As Maja moves in, there are a lot of weeds due to not playing very much. Tom Nook got her all set to work for him for the time being. When Maja met some of the animals, something was very weird…. Two animals start talking to each other, they start getting mad, or getting sad, then Maja talks to them. They are still mad, or sad even if they are meeting someone new. Usually, the animals don’t get mad at new players, I actually recorded Ellie acting mad, but meeting Maja. xD
After finally getting Maja to work, she was finally a Cebu member. So her house is quite small, however there are 30,000 bells hidden that Matteo had been saving in the bushes. xD Maja is going to be fishing though, just to keep the bells increasing.
I was done playing.
Note: House Tour Spring Edition?
I did try putting a few extra things a little bit for Dingdong’s house. I am still going to record the house tour. I’ve been very late with it, because my controller is still being very bad, and I haven’t started. I was going to record it in March, but nothing was working. I left the game alone, then saw that it was working again, so I have much to catch up. I’m currently working on the house tour, and the Pete video I’m planning. But Dingdong’s house is almost ready for the tour, so I could record it soon. I still need a newer controller for my gameplay of the gamecube version. But I’ve been having luck in my white one. We’ll see what happens. Thanks guys.
WAKAS
I just received a letter from Liz saying that she’s leaving Redwood, so that means that we have a new villager. So I searched and it didn’t take that long to find the house, because I saw an extra house where Peanut once lived in.
This was was another squirrel. We got Static (Cranky Squirrel Villager). So he replaced Liz, since we’ve been ignoring her a lot.
I ran around the town, and headed to Tom Nook’s. I found some good matching extra items for the house. I bought some things too upstairs.
The basement is still being worked on. So I’ll be done probably next week.
WAKAS
In Redwood, it was raining, (when we went and played until the snow melted) so around 4pm, Dingdong went to check out the fresh new grass. It was good to walk on the soft grass again.
I went around to check on the animals. Since it was raining, I was willing to go fishing for some fish to get more bells, but I was kinda lazy to. haha
We talked to Kabuki and Pompom for awhile.
It was good to see grass around Redwood, I ended the game shortly.
WAKAS
Dingdong continued working in his house around 6:30pm that evening.
I went to Tom Nook’s shop to find some extra things for the house, but there wasn’t anything good on sale. I went to order one of the other items that matched the house. Upstairs was looking good, but the main room needed more extra things.
So to quicken the ordering process, I head over to the next town to hurry it up. I wasn’t in a rush, but I had to get it done so I won’t have to worry about it anymore.
In Kiwi Bay, I visit the town for a small period of time. I met up with Blaire, Penny, and Huck. I even found Gulliver lying in the beach shores, so I helped out, having a Fishing Bear. It was just my small stay in Kiwi Bay, but I decided to leave shortly.
When I came back, I got 4 items ordered already, so I collected them and decorated my house. When you come back from another town sometimes, a villager will move out and replace a new animal. In Rollo’s lonely acre, he no longer is alone, because there is a house nearby. I read the house, and apparently, no one was in the house. (usually animals are inside, then they come out)
I then remembered that Chuck was in an igloo earlier, but it proven that he moved out of Redwood, so this means……Inside the igloo was Kabuki! (Cranky Cat Villager) He was one of the animals that I liked from Kiwi Bay. I’m glad he moved to Redwood! I missed him! :)
After decorating the house, I was finally done with the two rooms, except the basement, which I’m doing last.
I finished and saved my game.
My Tour is coming very very soon! :)
WAKAS
I started out on my town Redwood around 7:30 tonight. I’ve noticed that the trees are turning green. Yes, the snow will leave the town next Saturday on the 25th of February. I looked around the town for the time, so I ran and found an igloo by Puck’s house. Inside was Gwen.
I played a quick game with Gwen; This time her game was choosing the right furniture. If I chose the Lovely Vanity, then I don’t need to pay anything, but if I chose the Ranch Table, then I have to pay 3,000 bells. Luckily I got the Lovely Vanity. Haha.
In Tom Nook’s shop, I rushed upstairs to find the missing furniture for my house, and sadly there was nothing. What I had to do, was order the furniture, oh well. I was glad I got some ordered though.
While Huggy and Chuck were hanging out around my acre, I headed over to Porter to visit Cebu. It was the most quickest trips I’ve taken. Over in the town Cebu, it was snowing today.
I ran around trying to find some furniture if I was lucky enough to find one of the stuff for the house, the great thing was that there was actually one of them on sale at Tom Nook’s. I once again ordered the rest of the things for the house, and I was actually done with the living room. (Remember, if you order things in your own town, just head over to another town and do the exact thing in that town, then you’ll have enough ordered.) I just have to put a few extra things in the rooms.
Kody had to be a jerk by giving me a glasses case that Marcy forgot, however she already moved away about 2 months ago, so I can’t give it to her anymore. I let the wishing well take it off my hands and I am free from that item.
I ran into Matteo’s new neighbor Maddie (Peppy Dog Villager) before heading home. It seems that Piper moved out after Valentine’s Day.
So after my short trip to Cebu, I was home again. My mailbox was full of letters with presents. YES! I got everything! haha :D
Dingdong can finally relax. And, of course Rizzo left the town, replacing it with……. Butch.
I stopped playing and will continue next time.

What happened here?
I got the good news guys! Listen up! Since the notice I sent about the hiatus that I was gonna do for a long time, I guess it won’t happen?? But, I’m not sure about it, because to me it is kinda creepy seeing my controller work really good for some reason….
And yes it is the same controller that was paralyzed that week I announced the sad news. It is completely fine to me when I played. Weird. I’m not sure what I’m gonna say, but I hope it will stay working, that’s my hope.
If it continues to work, I may resume the gameplay with this one, and maybe record some videos with it. (I am still thinking of whom to do the first “The Meeting of” whatever animal on City Folk, so I’m thinking of videos for that too) If it continues to not work, then I will just leave the gamecube game alone until I get myself a new controller. Hope for the best guys!
Cebu full of weeds, Valentine’s Day
Matteo had came out of his home, and there came out Resetti. Ugh… After seeing the mole complain and yell at Matteo, I went around to check Cebu.
Man, the place got full of weeds. The time in Cebu was 12pm that afternoon, so I was unable to see Wisp the Ghost, (I’d time travel, but nahh) In the mail, he got a lot of letters…. From the female animals. Midge, Peaches, Piper, Goldie, Ellie, Bunnie, and Freya sent him Valentine letters. Most of them were clothes and a few furnitures.
I had completely forgot what I was planning to do with Matteo, because I’ve been avoiding the game for 2 weeks already. I sold the things he might of bought before by accident, but I will just have to accept the fact that I hadn’t been playing the Gamecube version for a long time.
I played shortly with Matteo after visiting Samson inside his igloo. He said not to eat his chowder when he was almost going to sleep.
I saved Cebu’s gameplay.
Long time, no play in Redwood, Valentine’s day
Dingdong is back to look around his town. There were weeds everywhere in his town too, but it was my controller’s fault for acting weird. His mailbox was full of letters; the Valentine’s letters from the ladies again. The animals were Ava, Liz, Gwen, Purrl, Pompom, Bluebear, and Huggy. Most were all clothes, and a few furniture like Matteo’s.
I got another letter from Nosegay (Normal Anteater Villager). That was the villager that recently moved in Redwood before I stopped playing but now she had moved away when I came back.
As I looked around, the town was full of weeds all over the place, and I also saw a newer house where Huck was living in.
This neighbor is non other than Biff. (Jock Hippo Villager) I had a brand new villager replacing Nosegay.
There was also an igloo nearby, so inside was Chuck. I missed playing in the igloos, so I went on and played with him only for one game. He didn’t give me any snow furniture, but an ordinary Ponderosa Bonsai. I picked the card, and I got his lucky card. I won the game without paying any bells for it.
Taking down the winter house, for spring
It’s been so long since I decorated my house for Winter’s House Tour, and I had to decorate it with much delay. I was suppose to take the things down in Feb 1st, but I guess I’ll have to think of things really fast. I am hoping my controller doesn’t freak out like it did last time, so I am taking the risk of fixing up my house for next tour. I sold all of the Harvest furniture, along with the Ranch ones. The beds saved me, because I got some different ones for the new look of the house. I should be done by the end of Feb. I do have most of the items, but I might borrow some from the other fellow players.
Dingdong has some catching up to do!
I was done selling them, and ordering the stuff one at a time, before I could save the game.
So my controller was working for a weird reason, and it should stay working. I miss updating in this blog, but I’ve been getting much luck with it.
I’m really glad I could play it. :) :)
